The Press Room is an Atlanta salon specializing in silk presses, sew-ins and luxury natural extensions, haircolor, and relaxer services. Every service is designed to maintain the health of your natural hair while delivering refined, polished results.

The Press Room is located in Midtown Atlanta at 1745 Peachtree St. NE, Suite F, Atlanta, GA 30309. Services are by appointment only.

All services and pricing can be viewed and booked online only. Pricing is not provided over the phone or social media. All prices listed are starting rates and may vary based on hair goals, length, density, and desired results.

Services are offered for clients ages 16 and up. The focus is on providing specialized care and results in a tailored, elevated environment. Thank you for your understanding.

Services are designed for clients with chin-length hair or longer. Styling and cutting services for pixie or shorter lengths are not currently offered.

For best results, hair should be detangled prior to your appointment. This allows for a more efficient service and helps avoid additional time or charges. The Press Room will take care of everything else.

A non-refundable, non-transferable reservation fee is required and applied to your final balance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, including any time the day prior, will result in forfeiture of the reservation fee. One reschedule is permitted within 30 days, provided all policies are followed. No-shows result in removal from future booking eligibility.

The Press Room Salon is a cashless salon. Credit cards, debit cards, and tap-to-pay are accepted. A processing fee applies to all card and tap transactions.

Afterpay is available for service balances of $399 or more and must be processed in person at checkout. Deposits are not eligible. Approval is determined by Afterpay at the time of purchase. A 4.5% processing fee applies.

A priority waitlist is not currently offered. The booking calendar is kept up to date, and availability may change daily due to cancellations, reschedules, or newly released appointments. Please check back frequently for openings.

It depends on your hair, your routine, and the weather. Humidity, sweat, and how you wrap your hair at night all play a part. Your aftercare guidance is tailored to your hair, and the products I recommend for keeping your press smooth between appointments are on the Shop page.

Healthy hair is the focus of every service. Proper technique and a personalized plan for your hair are used to deliver a sleek finish while protecting your natural hair.

A sew-in can be worn for up to 3 months. After that, it should be removed so your natural hair and scalp can be properly cleansed and cared for.

The extension hair itself lasts much longer. With proper care, The Press Room's exclusive textures (straight, body wave, and textured) typically last 8 to 12 months. Longevity varies based on texture, maintenance, and styling frequency.

Hair health and safety are a priority. Professional-grade products are used alongside strict application standards to ensure every chemical service is performed with care and precision.
